Last updated: May 3, 2026 · Aave Dashboard (the “App”)

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use our mobile application. We designed the App to minimise data collection and to keep sensitive choices on your device where possible.

1. Scope

This policy applies to the Aave Dashboard iOS application and the processing activities described below. It does not govern third-party websites, blockchain networks, RPC providers, or price/data APIs you may interact with indirectly when using the App.

2. What the App does (high level)

The App is a read-only portfolio viewer for Aave V3–style positions on supported EVM networks. It does not execute transactions on your behalf, does not custody assets, and does not hold your private keys or seed phrases. You may enter or scan a public wallet address to retrieve on-chain and related market information.

3. Categories of information

Depending on how you use the App, we may process:

4. Sources

Information comes from: (a) you, when you enter settings or addresses; (b) public blockchain nodes via JSON-RPC; (c) public APIs (e.g. token pricing); (c) local storage on your device.

5. Purposes and legal bases (UK / EEA)

We process data to: provide the App’s core functionality; remember your preferences and recent wallets on-device; improve reliability (e.g. caching); and communicate with you if you contact us. Where UK GDPR / GDPR applies, we rely on performance of a contract (providing the App), legitimate interests (security, minimal analytics-free operation, product improvement that does not override your rights), and where required consent (e.g. camera access for QR scanning—handled via system permission).

6. Sharing and processors

We do not sell your personal information. Data leaves your device mainly when:

Those providers process data under their own policies. Blockchains are public ledgers; anyone may observe transactions and balances associated with an address.

7. International transfers

If you contact us or use services hosted outside your country, data may be processed in other jurisdictions. We take steps appropriate to the risk (e.g. ensuring lawful transfer mechanisms where required).

8. Retention

On-device cache and settings persist until you delete the App or clear related data. Communications by email may be retained as needed to handle your request and meet legal obligations.

9. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures suitable for a client-side read-only client: local storage on your device, HTTPS where applicable for API calls, and no collection of private keys. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

10. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise rights related to information we hold as controller, contact us at the email above. Note: much of the App’s data stays only on your device — uninstalling the App or clearing its data may erase it.

11. Children

The App is not directed at children under 16 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction). Do not use the App if you are under the required age.

12. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, additional notice in the App.
